Two lights, blue and yellow, are quietly playing in a park. Gradually, they start to consider each other, to test each other, to squabble, but stay equilibrate. None of them takes the upper hand until the blue is thrown into the water and disappears. The yellow will be alone and will lose control until invading the whole city.
This little project was realized in Oradea (Romania) in collaboration with Dan Dragos, founder of the site "Oradea in imagini". The music was composed by Christopher Overbeck, an artist living in Oradea which you are going to hear about soon on Focuscopus.
It is the first project and for the moment the only one requiring two cameras for the simultaneous shooting required by light painting. We should rather speak of light-sculpture, because as the name suggests, the light painting lets you paint a picture ; by moving a light in front of an open camera lens we create a flat shape, in 2D.
